Cosmetic Dentistry is a form of dentistry in which the main focus is to improve the overall appearance of your smile. We have several methods of achieving this goal, with the following treatments:

DENTAL IMPLANTS are changing the way people live! They are designed to provide a foundation for replacement teeth that look, feel and function like natural teeth. Titanium posts, designed to act as root substitutes, are inserted into the jawbone. The bone bonds with the posts and creates a stable anchor for natural looking, artificial teeth to be placed.

BLEACHING of teeth to produce a brighter, whiter smile has been practiced for years. However, modern advancements in bleaching have produced superior results with greater confidence. We offer two separate forms of bleaching. The first method is to create a thin, acrylic tray made from models of your teeth. These molds are worn on your teeth with a bleaching gel of a mild peroxide or similar solution at home for one to two hours a day for two to three weeks. The second less time consuming method is our in-house laser bleaching. This takes approximately 1-1/2 hours, and you will leave several shades lighter. Your dentist should monitor your progress and safeguard any problems on a regular basis throughout either process.

VENEERS are porcelain coverings for front teeth that are used to change the shape and color of teeth. This is a very conservative approach to cosmetic dentistry as the need to reduce or reshape the natural tooth structure is minimal, and the results of the veneer are long lasting and impressive. Veneers are usually irreversible.

BONDING is a relatively new method that can be used as a means of closing gaps, correcting crooked or uneven teeth, or to restore surface defects. This is achieved by hardening a tooth-colored resin material to the surface of your teeth, and is usually reversible. The material used in bonding can also be used to replace old mercury/silver fillings with tooth colored fillings and last approximately 3-5 years.
